Life of being a university student is so short; 3 years and a half is now gone. I've finally graduated from UC and start to prepare for the graduation from RULE as well. It's true that time flies, and I feel that I'm not well-prepared for change to a stage of working life. I have started to worry if I could find a job, especially a job that I wish for.
For two weeks Nareth and I have been trying to go to various companies to apply for internship so that we could write a report for our graduation at RULE. We have always supposed that companies would be more open to provide chances for students to intern rather than to have a job. Nevertheless, things have come up in total contrast, I may say. It seems unlikely for a total stranger to learn and check a company's accounting procedure since accounting information is confidential in doing business. Therefore, we have been rejected by most of companies and banks; some of them do provide chances for internship, but, by the time we were there, the posts were already filled! It's annoying that we were late for them! Students from other universities have already taken them.
This is week the 4th day of week 2, and there are only two weeks left before the deadline of submission of request form. At the moment I am waiting for reply from a company I have submitted the form (which was submitted 3 days ago).
Hope good news comes up soon!
