My Birthday 2010

My birthday fell on the mid of the final exams at RULE; therefore, the celebration was delayed by one day to 06th August when I just finished the exam on the day. We planned to eat something at Song Tra and to play badminton after that. The most frustrating thing happened on the day was the rain which destroyed the badminton plan. No one knows how much I wanted to play badminton rather than any other thing else. However, we did laugh alot on the day under the building that was being constructed. We had been standing in the strong wind for an hour and a half, and then we returned home at around 6:00.

Nith’s Birthday Gathering

This was July 11, 2010, from 2:30pm onward at Lucky Burger when and where we (Nareth, Lak, Chetra, Visal, Tey, Danith and I) were having a gathering on the occasion of Nith’s birthday. It is a surprise party we call it because Nith didn’t know in advance that we were going to have this party particularly for him. Actually said, only Nareth, Lak, Chetra and I knew beforehand that this is a birthday meeting. We also invited Phorn, Pheak, and Vin to go there, but they were not available due to exams and study. Tey and Visal were not told about this until the last minute though they were quite enjoying the party.

This is the second time we have celebrated birthday party for Nith. Last year we had it at Kea’s house. Obviously we have different atmospheres, additions of new friends, and of course different feelings.

Gathering for Shakespeare’s Birthday

It seemed to be an excuse for using Shakespeare’s birthday to have a gathering at Lucky Seven on Friday evening. However, it was a good occasion to meet other English literature students who either are currently studying or used to study in the afternoon session. Personally, I was glad to meet these new friends who have something in common. Besides Lak and Chetra, I met other members who I’ve often seen in facebook, including Visal, Kim Heng, Ratha, Sreyvoat, Sandap, and Theary, but never in person.

Admittedly, as a literature student, I’ve never noticed the background of Shakespeare who has always been considered the father of English literature until I was invited to join this small party that induces me to start checking up on him. It’s just a general knowledge for an English literature student.

Though only shortly we met, it was a memorable moment. And I hope I will know them better next time.

Surprise birthday again, but this time it’s for me! Even though I know in advance that they are preparing something for my birthday, I just don’t know what that ‘something’ was until it came.

Actually, my birthday is on the 5th. This is organized before the date. I have been looking forward to this party because it’s the first time that there has been a party for my birthday and especially with all my close friends. It’s very kind of them that they have spent time and effort in preparing these lovely gifts for me. I was too sweet in my heart to say a word.

Thanks to Kea, Reth, and Nith for everything. The moments we were together sharing joy and cheer will be stuck in my memory forever and ever and never be faded out!

Surprise Birthday

20:00pm

Everything should happen on July 11th, but due to inconvenience, it was held yesterday (July 5th ) in advance. We’d been planning and preparing to give a surprise birthday time to Nith for almost a month. Nareth, Kea, and I have been doing individual video slides for him as birthday gifts. Of course, we’d been spending much time and heart discussing how to make these things out. The only goal is to give this monkey friend a special unforgettable birthday party.

This is the birthday cake designed for Nith's 19 birthday. Quite cute and yummy!

When he was looking at the slide show we have made for him, Nareth and I came out of the room and handed the cake to him to make a wish (wishes, perhaps!). He was very surprised and excited when seeing us preparing so many things for him! It's a pity that the picture is not very clear!:-(

The Celebration of Kea's Birthday

07/01/2009, afternoon 1:45-5:45pm.

The birthday was celebrated two later than the actual date, 05/01/2009. Though there were only three of us who joint her birthday party, we were extremely excited. We bought the cake for her, and she had also prepared so many snacks for us. As a matter of fact, I was really full that day until 11:00pm at night! A very exciting eating and chatting party, indeed!

This is the cake we bought for Kongkea. Not very big it may look, but we couldn't finish it all!
